Terms of Service

Welcome to Atlas. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Ruben Hernandez ("we", "us"). They govern your access to and use of the Atlas website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Atlas is an AI-powered personal administration assistant. Users may optionally connect data sources such as email, calendar, financial accounts, and documents so that Atlas can surface insights including upcoming renewals, duplicate subscriptions, unusual charges, expiring documents, and potential savings. The Service is provided on a software-as-a-service basis. Features and limits may change as the Service evolves.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Atlas. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for safeguarding your credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Trials

Atlas offers a free tier and paid subscription plans ("Atlas Pro"). Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, who acts as the merchant of record for all paid transactions. Paddle's terms apply to the payment itself. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

See our Refund Policy. In short: a 14-day refund window applies to new paid subscriptions.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code of the Service;
  • upload malware, attempt to disrupt the Service, or probe for security vulnerabilities outside of a responsible disclosure;
  • resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product;
  • use the Service to process data you do not have the legal right to process.

6. AI Output

Atlas uses large language models and other automated systems to generate insights, summaries, and suggestions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it. Atlas does not provide legal, tax, medical, or financial advice.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of the data you connect to or upload into Atlas. You grant Atlas a limited licence to process that data solely to provide and improve the Service for you. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, branding, and content created by Atlas, is owned by Ruben Hernandez and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose a security risk. On termination, your access ends and we will delete or anonymise your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATLAS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) US$50.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
