How to cancel Planet Fitness

Step 3 — Send certified mail with return receipt

Walk into any USPS office. Ask for Certified Mail with Return Receipt(PS Form 3811, the green slip). Total cost ~$7. Save the green slip — it's your proof of delivery if Planet Fitness "loses" the letter.

Step 4 — Stop the payment as a backstop

After the letter is mailed, open your bank app and place a stop-payment block on "Planet Fitness". If they charge anyway, dispute it with your bank and attach a photo of the certified mail receipt. Banks reverse it 95% of the time.
