How to cancel Peacock
TL;DR
- • Cancel at peacocktv.com/account — works for direct subscribers.
- • Got Peacock free via Xfinity, Spectrum, or Cox? Cancel via your cable provider.
- • Billed via Apple, Google, or Roku? Cancel on that platform instead.
- • No prorated refunds. Access runs until end of billing period.
Step 1 — Sign in at peacocktv.com/account
Use the email Peacock sends receipts to. Cancellation only works on the web — the mobile app hides the button.
Step 2 — Account → Plans & Payment
Click your profile icon (top-right) → Account → Plans & Payment.
Step 3 — Change Plan → Cancel Plan
Click Change Plan. Scroll to the bottom of the page — Cancel Plan is the small grey link below the upgrade tiles. Click, click through retention, confirm.
If you got Peacock Premium free with Xfinity, Cox, or Spectrum
Your Peacock is provisioned through your cable account. peacocktv.com will say "You're on a partner plan, contact your provider." That's accurate — you have to call or chat the cable company to remove Peacock. Sometimes it's a free perk; if you cancel it from the provider side, you can re-add it free later.
The auto-renewal trick to watch for
Peacock often emails a one-year discounted plan (e.g. $24.99 for the year). When that year ends it silently auto-renews at the full $79.99 — but the email is buried in promo mail. Set a calendar reminder 7 days before your annual renewal so you can cancel and re-buy the discounted plan, saving ~$55/year.
