How to cancel Disney+
TL;DR
- • Cancel at disneyplus.com/account — works for Disney+ alone or the Bundle.
- • Billed via Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, or Verizon? Cancel on that platform.
- • No prorated refunds after 14 days. Access continues until billing period ends.
- • Profiles and watchlist saved 9 months in case you come back.
Step 1 — Sign in at disneyplus.com/account
Use a browser, not the TV or app. The cancel button only appears on the web account page.
Step 2 — Open Subscription → Cancel
Click Subscription. Find the active plan (Disney+, Disney Bundle, Hulu, ESPN+) and click Cancel Subscription. The button is at the bottom in grey text.
Step 3 — Skip the retention offers
Disney shows two screens of offers (annual discount, downgrade to ads-supported). Click Continue to Cancel on each.
Step 4 — If you signed up through a third party
- • Apple App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel.
- • Google Play: Play Store → Profile → Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel.
- • Amazon: Amazon.com → Memberships & Subscriptions → Disney+ → Cancel.
- • Roku: Roku account → Manage subscriptions.
- • Verizon: My Verizon → Add-ons & apps.
Frequently asked
Can I just cancel Hulu inside the Disney Bundle?
No. The bundle is one charge — you either keep all three services or cancel the bundle entirely.
Does Disney+ refund the annual plan if I cancel mid-year?
Only within 14 days of the renewal date, and only if you haven't streamed. After day 14, no refund — but access continues to the end of the year.
